I've just got one myself and this thing rocks. I'm seriously thinking of starting up a Npower media player support group. There should be a forum for folks who get this thing.
I've hosed my system fiddling with java games for it. The problem is the manual's demands for the games are difficult to check so you end up just doing it trial-and-error mode, or as I like to call it trial-and-hose-your-media-player mode. But as long as your comfortable with re-formatting you sustem it's not a big deal.
What is a big deal is the process of uploading them. The manual doesn't exactly make it clearthat you need the JAR and JAD file. Mst programs aren't written for 320x240, which can be troublesome. Some programs want to download content after they install, which is impossible. I should start making a list here for NPower compatible games. maybe I'll open a blogger for that purpose.
The other thing is downloading movies. While the NPower does make playing movies pretty easy the conversion of movies is not that simple, especally if you want to download batchs of files, which I do because their fast forward option often only allows you to fastforward 5-10 minutes before skipping. So I need to split files. There is no tool to split WMVs effectivly so I have to split the AVIs. Hence the reason for batch file processing.
Maybe I'll start that blog this weekend.

I agree about the forum for Npower media players. That would be great. I have converted some videos to this thing, but the volume usually ends up being to low. Also a list of games that work would be great too. I hope you do, it would definitely help out.

A Java game broke the Java on my Npower, I deleted the JAVA_VM folder, now Java games will no longer work. I contacted tech support and they said to use my software install disc to fix the problem. The only thing is I didn't have a software install disc. Does anyone know how to get my JAVA working again?

I have a Nokia and could not find disc but most manufacturers supply software free on website, if not try piratebay but beware of trojans make sure file has a few good reviews first
