Q: How do I create a Web App?

To create the Visual Bookmark go to www.getjar.com and open a free developer account. Then go to Products as if you wanted to add an application to GetJar. But in the drop down list when asked to specify the Platform for the “application” instead specify “Mobile Web Application, WML/xHTML Site”. Then add the URL, a graphic, a description of the service, and follow the instructions from there.

After you submit this information, within 24 hours GetJar will produce java, symbian, blackberry, and windows mobile applications that are your Visual Bookmark. We also create a Product Page for the Visual Bookmark, from which the public can download it. The Visual Bookmark is available on GetJar for download by our total subscriber base and on partner channels. The Visual Bookmark is a free service.
