Hi,
It's a question from a complete novice

I have RIZR z6tv - and Motorola site specifies that I can run J2ME applications on it - but they do not tell how:
I looked at Motorola site - could not find the answer to my questions (below) -
they just explain what J2ME is and that the phone can run J2ME Applications,
but do not have any information of how to use .jar as an Application
1) Phone is Linux-based. Does Java run-time itself is already there to run J2ME applications?
Or I need to load Java environment to the phone?
2) Say I have .jar from Motorola - what should I do with it to make an Application from it?
Where (required folder name?) should I copy .jar and .jad from my PC to my phone?
What to do next?
3) If I will be told how to do the above - then how can I say assign a button to call specific Application by pressing this button?

For now if I copy .jar and .jad to my phone (I used Motorola Phone Tools) it copies fine but then I do not see (or I don't know how) those files on my phone.
Then if Iearn how to copy (where to copy) to see them later - then what should I do next to have an Application?
For instance, I have large Clock .jar and /jad - http://www.getjar.com/products/10390/BigClock -
how to make it work?

I saw in more recent replies to someone else:
"copy both .jar and .jad and then install .jad" -
but: (a) where to copy? I copied to some directory using Motorola Tools but then I can not see those files on my phone while browsing directories
(b) How to "install"? Just click on file? If so then I need to learn where to copy...

General guide lines for installing Java based apps:
1. Download the Jar file from the desired Application.
2. Install your phone software (website of your manufacture)
3. Connect phone with the phone software trough Bluetooth, USB wire or infrared.
4. Upload Jar file to your phone with filemanager.
